About Senior Action Network

Senior Action Network (SAN) is a citywide federation of senior organizations working to improve the lives of San Francisco's seniors and all our city's residents. We are an umbrella coalition of over 150 member organizations representing over 30,000 seniors and persons with disabilities. SAN has activists from every neighborhood, economic status, and cultural identity represented in the diverse city of San Francisco. Since 1990, SAN has made critical strides in improving some of our society's most pressing problems, including health care, crime, transportation, pedestrian safety, housing, and now, the environment. Through leadership development and community organizing, SAN empowers seniors to identify, research and implement solutions to the pressing inequities we face.
